Limited inventory continues to be the theme among most DC neighborhoods during the 1st Quarter of 2018. The average days on the market indicator increased slightly from the 4th Quarter of 2017 but still very strong fundamentals overall.

Slate Agents enjoyed a private Developer Tour of the Historic Buchanan School Condominium on E St on Capitol Hill. Developed by DItto Residential, the 41-unit condominium project beautifully blends the original character of the 19th century school with the modern and sophisticated style characteristic of a Ditto development. Slate agents enjoyed an afternoon making turkey sandwiches to be donated to Martha's Table Homeless Outreach program. Each day, the volunteers at Martha's Table deliver meals to the less-fortunate throughout The District.  Working together to make an impact in our community  is one of our core values and we are proud to partner with Martha's Table in supporting their mission.  A big thank you to the Slate Agents that organized the event.

We are pleased to announce that Scott Vollmer has joined the firm. Most recently, Scott has been working in Real Estate Development with EDENS, the developer of Union Market in NE Washington. With over twelve years of professional experience 

working in hospitality, real estate was a natural transition and true passion for Scott. 

Originally from Connecticut, Scott received his degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson State College. He has worked in numerous capacities at flagship properties such as the Waldorf=Astoria in New York City and the W Hotel in Washington, DC.
