In a special way this Memorial Day Weekend, Slate remembers our team members, clients, residents, friends and family who serve and those who have served in the armed forces to protect the country we love. In honor of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, we salute you.
Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and relaxing Memorial Day Weekend.
Continued good news for clients buying a new home. Freddie Mac reported today that the average 30-year fixed rate mortgage fell to 3.95% - down from 4.02% last week - and the lowest rate in 2017.
According to Sean Beckett, chief economist at Freddie Mac, "As we predicted, the 30-year mortgage rate fell 7 basis points this week in a delayed reaction to last week's sharp drop in Treasury yields. The survey rate stands at 3.95 percent today, a new low for the year."
